The Dipartimento di Scienze Agrarie, Alimentari ed Ambientali (D3A) is a multidisciplinary department of the Università Politecnica delle Marche (UPM) with 66 full-time staff.

The Agro-Food Economics and Marketing Laboratory comprises two senior researchers, two research assistants and four junior researchers. The lab has long-standing experience of economic and market research in the agro-food sector and in environmental economics. It has participated in many EU-funded research projects.

The researchers have wide experience in econometric modelling of market and non-market goods, in cost-benefit analysis, and project appraisal methods, as well as in qualitative and quantitative analysis of consumer behaviour and choice.
