Biocop Productos Biológicos, S.A. (BIOCOP), Lliçà de Vall, Spain

BIOCOP is an SME established in 1987 in Lliçà de Vall (Barcelona). It was previously a cooperative: the first to market organic products in Spain, in the mid-1970s. It has helped to develop a great number of initiatives in the fields of production, manufacturing, distribution and retailing of organic products over the years.

Its members have been involved in the development of different bodies and structures, such as Consejo Regulador de la Agricultura Ecológica, Consell Català de la Producció Agrària Ecològica, FA-BIO, APECPAE, EU Group of IFOAM, and others.
