Survey of the needs and demands of end users of market data started

(

As part of the OrganicDataNetwork project (work package 1), we have now developed a survey to investigate the needs and demands of users of organic market data so that an organic market information system can be optimised. The survey is led by the project partner Ceska Zemedelska Univerzita v Praze (CULS) in collaboration with the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL).

This survey will give us a greater idea of who uses what organic market data, how the availability of data meets the users’ needs, and the users’ opinions on the quality of the available data.

The online questionnaire has already been emailed to a large number of data users that have been identified in collaboration with the European Group of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM EU Group), the International Directory of Organic Food Wholesalers and Supply Companies at www.organic-bio.com, Organic-Market.Info - Online Magazine for Organic Trade, and FiBL.

If you know of someone who you feel should participate in this survey, please contact Robert Home at FiBL so he can send you details of the survey. Alternatively, the survey can be accessed using this link: http://www.onlineumfragen.com/login.cfm?umfrage=34257
