Tutorial on the use of the ORganic Market data Manual and CODE of Practice
Within the OrganicDataNetwork project, the ORganic market data MAnual and CODE (OrMaCode) of Practice has been developed. A tutorial on how to use the OrMaCode is now available on YouTube.
Within the OrganicDataNetwork project, the ORganic market data MAnual and CODE of Practice (Manual and Code of Practice for the initiation and maintenance of good organic market data collection and publication procedures, OrMaCode) has been developed. This OrMaCode is consistent with the European Statistics Code of Practice.
The ORganic market data MAnual and CODE of Practice (OrMaCode) is a collection of information and experiences gained through the project, which can be used selectively to meet the needs of data collectors in collecting, processing, storing, analysing and disseminating organic market data.
The OrMaCode consists of a Code of Practice and a manual for the initiation and maintenance of good organic market data collection and publication procedures. The Code of Practice is a list of principles and related indicators covering the different key areas of organic market data collection, processing, storage and publication/dissemination. It is consistent with the European Statistics Code of Practice.
The Manual contains specific guidelines for applying the Code of Practice. It also contains guidelines on the collection of relevant sets of data and how to ensure that quality criteria will be met. The “Multimedia presentation on tutorial on the use of the OrMaCode” consists of a video on the use of this tool.
