OrganicDataNetwork: Multimedia presentation on Data collection experiences: case study results

(Sept 2014) The EU-funded project "Data network for better European organic market information" (OrganicDataNetwork), is a collaborative project that increases transparency of European organic food market through better availability of market intelligence on the sector, considering as well the needs of policymakers and key players in organic markets. The idea is to establish a long-term permanent network of stakeholders engaged in organic market data collection and analysis.

Within this project, six case studies – for Germany, France, Italy, Czech Republic, UK, and the Mediterranean region – were carried out. The goal was to test and improve data collection procedures and to come to publish improved market reports in these countries/regions. This video summarizes the main achievements for each country. Project partners and stakeholders describe how the case studies contributed to overcome the current dispersion and fragmentation of data sources.
