Work package 1: Stakeholder integration and coordination centre

To achieve the project goal of developing recommendations for a European organic market database requires that the network is guided by the goals of public and private bodies that are active in organic market data collection, analysis and publication.

The key task of this work package is to organise a multi-stakeholder integration and coordination centre. This coordination centre focuses on three major activities:

• Bringing together  stakeholders who are active and relevant in organic market data collection;
• Initiating a learning process between stakeholders as well as between stakeholders and the project partners with the aim of improving both the data quality and the stakeholder’s commitment to a European organic market database. This will be done through a diverse set of instruments and media (workshops, round tables, internet forum, electronic training tools, and video clips of project results);
• Identifying the demand and needs of end-users with respect to an organic market database.
